  • New features in Wildfly 9
    • This talk outlines some of the new features in Wildfly 9, including a demo of using Wildfly as a load balancer in a cluster
  • Narayana+WildFly
    • In this talk it will be explained how to configure the WildFly transaction subsystem with examples. Then the speaker introduce some other optional transaction related subsystems that the Narayana ( project provides.


Presenters: Stuart Douglas, Michael Musgrove

Stuart is a Senior Software Engineer at Red Hat working on the Wildfly and JBoss EAP application servers. In his 4 years at Red Hat Stuart has worked on many parts of the server, including EJB, Servlets and Websockets. Stuart currently leads the Undertow project, which is an embeddable high performance web server used by Wildfly.

Michael is a developer with 20+ years experience building distributed systems using CORBA, JEE and OSI. He currently works in the transactions team at Red Hat, Inc implementing Java and C++ solutions for the middleware market. Prior to his role at Red Hat Michael was involved with a variety of technologies including software and hardware fault tolerance, management of distributed systems and systems management products for servers. His latest interests include how to apply these experiences in a REST setting.
